our story

1857

Hughes & Lancaster Ltd was founded.

1888

Supplied first wastewater pumping system.

1969

Air Products set up a Public Health Engineering Division incorporating Hughes & Lancaster Ltd, which was named Satec Ltd (Sewage And Treated Effluent Company).

 

1985

After a management buy out Satec Ltd became independent and then acquired the industrial process water treatment business of Peabody Services Ltd. Also, at that time Satec Ltd became the sole UK agent for Eurowater.

2012

Satec underwent a re-structure becoming Satec Service Ltd.

 
 

2018

Satec open a combination tanker division based out of its Stoke-on-Trent office.
