Satec Service Ltd is seeking an experienced Wastewater Service & Projects Supervisor to join our growing team. As a specialist water and wastewater engineering company, we deliver service, maintenance, refurbishment, and design-and-build projects across the clean water, foul water, and wastewater sectors throughout the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with strong leadership skills who is looking to progress their career while helping to grow and develop our service and installation division.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support service engineers and installation teams on water and wastewater projects
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on pump stations, ejector stations, and packaged sewage treatment plants
- Lead mechanical and electrical installation projects across clean water, foul water, and wastewater sites
- Work closely with the office planning team to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional works and new business
- Identify remedial works and provide detailed reports to support quotation preparation
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures
- Complete timesheets, service reports, and project documentation accurately
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
- Travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required
- Undertake occasional weekend work (paid at enhanced overtime rates)
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the water or wastewater industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- A mechanical fitting or electrical engineering background (preferred)
- Proven experience servicing and installing pump stations, ejector stations, and packaged sewage treatment plants
- Experience delivering maintenance and project installation work across water and wastewater treatment systems
- Confined Space certification (essential)
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to lead by example
- A full UK driving licence
- The flexibility to travel and work away from home when required
Preferred Location
Ideally, you’ll be based in the Midlands or Southern England, including Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, or anywhere further south, allowing convenient travel to client sites across the UK.
